Serving God Brings Joy

The Bible gives us many indications that gladness comes to us when we serve the Lord. The words glad and gladness are used more than 100 times in the Bible, often to describe God’s people and to tell what they feel when they worship and serve the Lord. Add to this the many instances when the terms joy and rejoicing are used in the same way,and we have a wonderful picture: Those who serve God with gratitude and praise will be happy people.

Each and every person has a spiritual gift, that, if they choose, can be used to serve the Lord. What is your spiritual gift? Do you have the gift of teaching?
